Christmas comes around every year, but your children grows bigger and its such a fleeting moment!
My Christmas Mini Sessions are designed to give you beautiful, timeless photographs of your family without the stress of a long photoshoot.
This year, I’m bringing two completely different Christmas setups to the studio — giving you the choice between a rich, traditional Christmas look and a softer, elegant festive setting.
Whether you want photographs for your Christmas cards, gifts for grandparents, a beautiful family portrait for your home, or simply photographs to remember this Christmas by, these sessions are created to give you something you will genuinely want to keep.
Christmas Mini Sessions 2026 are held at my private photography studio in Crosskeys, Co. Cavan.

THE RED VELVET CHRISTMAS
A rich, traditional Christmas setting with a beautiful red velvet arch, warm festive details and a classic Christmas feel.
This setup is perfect if you love traditional Christmas colours and want something bold, warm and festive.
Think Christmas mornings, beautiful dresses, little suits, siblings together and those photographs that instantly feel like Christmas.

Set two
WHITE, GOLD & GREEN CHRISTMAS
A softer and more elegant Christmas setup featuring beautiful white, gold and green tones.
This setup has a lighter, more refined feel and works beautifully with neutral outfits, creams, whites, beige, soft greens and classic Christmas clothing.
If you love my light and airy photography style, this is the Christmas setup for you.

Your Christmas session takes place in my private studio in Crosskeys, Co. Cavan.

The studio is a private, comfortable photography space where I create all of my newborn, maternity, family and milestone portraits.
Because the studio is a controlled environment, I can create consistent lighting and beautiful photographs regardless of what the Irish weather is doing outside.
You don't need to worry about rain, wind or a freezing December day.
Christmas is happening inside.
HOW THE SESSION WORKS
1. BOOK YOUR SESSION
Choose your available Christmas Mini date and time and secure your booking.
A €50 non-refundable booking retainer is required to secure your session.
The remaining balance is due according to your booking terms.
2. GET READY
Once you're booked, you'll receive all the information you need to prepare for your Christmas session.
I'll included outfit ideas for your shoot down below. but if you have any questions, I'm happy to answer them any time.
3. ARRIVE AT THE STUDIO
Please arrive on time for your session.
Christmas Minis are scheduled closely together, so arriving late may reduce the amount of time available for your photographs.
4. LET'S HAVE FUN
We'll start with some easier photographs to help everyone settle.
From there, I'll guide you through different poses and interactions on your chosen Christmas setup.
With children, we will also allow room for movement, personality and genuine moments.
5. CHOOSE YOUR IMAGES
After your session, your photographs will be professionally edited and placed into your private online gallery.
Your package includes 10 digital images.
Additional images can be purchased if you fall in love with more than your included 10.

Your images will be professionally edited in my signature style.
I want your Christmas photographs to feel clean, timeless and polished while still looking like your family.
The aim is not heavy editing or changing your children's appearance.
It's about beautiful light, natural skin tones, color, detail and creating photographs that you will still love looking at years from now.
If additional editing or retouching is requested beyond my standard editing style, an additional editing fee may apply.
Any additional editing requirements will be discussed and agreed upon before the work is carried out.

And yes — your four-legged family members are welcome for family Christmas sessions, provided they are comfortable in a studio environment.
If you are unsure whether your family is suitable for a Christmas Mini, just ask before booking.
WHO ARE CHRISTMAS MINIS FOR?
This is one of the biggest worries parents have before photographs.
Please don't worry.
Children don't always walk into a photography studio and immediately want to sit down and smile at the camera.
That's normal.
I don't expect perfect behaviour, perfect smiles or perfectly posed children.
I'll interact with them, give them time to settle and use different prompts and games to help bring out genuine expressions.
Sometimes the best photograph is the one that happens in between the poses.
So please don't spend the morning telling your child:
"You have to smile for the photographer."
Let them come as they are.
I'll take care of the rest.
WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?
For Christmas photographs, I recommend keeping your clothing coordinated rather than everyone wearing exactly the same thing.
For the red velvet setup, traditional Christmas colors, creams, whites, burgundy, green, brown and neutral tones work beautifully.
For the white, gold and green setup, creams, beige, white, soft greens, browns and neutral tones photograph beautifully.
Try to avoid:
Large logos
Very bright neon colors
Clothing with lots of competing patterns
Everyone wearing completely different color palettes
And remember — you don't need to buy a whole new wardrobe for the photographs.
Choose clothing that makes your family feel comfortable and that works together.
